Who we are

Farse Telefonice (prankcall.ro) is run by the owner of the prankcall.ro domain. Write to us through the support page.

What we collect

  • Account: your e-mail address and display name, from Google or Apple when you sign in, or the account someone at your company created for you.
  • Calls: the number you dialled, the number shown, the date, the length and whether it was answered. We do not record what is said.
  • Payments: if you top up credit, the processor (Stripe, Apple, Google) handles the card. We only receive the confirmation and the amount.
  • Technical: IP address, device type and app errors, for security and for fixing problems.
  • Notifications: the notification token of your device, if you allow notifications.

Permissions on your phone

  • Microphone — needed for a call.
  • Notifications — messages about credit and calls.
  • Contacts — so you can call someone from your phone book. The numbers stay on the phone.
  • Camera and location — optional, asked only when you open the feature that needs them. Saying no does not block calls.

Why we use it

To place the call, show you your calls, charge credit, stop abuse and meet legal duties. Legal basis: performing the contract and the legitimate interest of keeping the service safe.

How long we keep it

Account data for as long as the account exists. Call history and payment records up to 5 years, as accounting rules require. Technical logs up to 90 days.

Who else sees it

Only the providers the service needs: the telephony operator that places the call, Cloudflare (network), Google and Apple (sign-in, notifications, in-app payments), Stripe (card payments), Sentry (errors). We do not sell data.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability. Write to us through the support page; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to ANSPDCP, the Romanian data protection authority.

Deleting your account

In the app: Settings → Delete account. On the web: the deletion form. The account and its data are deleted within 30 days, except payment records kept by law.

Children

The service is not meant for people under 16.
